  10.  
  11. We are developing C++ software using a number
  12. of different public domain graphical user interface
  13. and simulation libraries along with our own
  14. home writtend libraries. Recently we've noticed
  15. that our link times have almost doubled. When we
  16. keep a close watch on it we see an a.out being written
  17. which looks like the correct size and then a.out suddenly
  18. disappears for quite a while before appearing back. 
  19.  
  20. We are using 
  21. gcc 2.6.3
  22. SunOs4.1.4
  23. sparc5 wkstn.
  24.  
  25. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
